I had been eyeing this set after quite a bit of research and knew that this was the right one for me. After a few weeks, I finally got a hold of it and am now amazed every time I am at the stove top. The stainless steel doesn't make these pots too heavy for me (although I don't have any joint problems or other ailments so I don't know how that would be for someone who does) and the even heating on all my food is unlike anything I have ever experienced with non-stick. Of course, these pots are so far superior, in my opinion, to non-stick that I don't even know if I can compare the two. The pans heat up really quickly and I was so surprised at how easy it is to control the temperature during cooking. Just slightly changing the heat up or down becomes really apparent with these pans. Cleaning them is super easy, especially if you soak them in some water right after cooking. I have had some residual spotting after making things that are really starchy, like rice and pasta, but I've read that vinegar takes that out right away and I don't really mind it. After using these pots and pans I've decided that I am never going back to non-stick! I would definitely recommend this set to anyone who wants a good quality basic stainless steel set and I'm so happy that I made the switch.
